Spanish IV

Outcome:
1. Discuss Elements of Literature. (Read page 13 and 14) and aswer the questions. Identify readings and select what are they describing.

2. Review: Grammar concepts and Nicaragua
3. Nicaragua quiz (Friday, Sept. 10 for B-day and Sept. 13 for A-day)
4. Grammar test for Wednesday 15th for B-day and Sept. 16 for A-day.
5. Bring 25 cents for next class.

Historia de Nicaragua segunda clase

Outcome: Demostrate knowledge about Nicaragua’s history and culture.

1. Discuss grammar concepts (review)
2. Discuss and review graphic organizer.
3. Finish reading about Nicaragua and vocabulary

Homework: Be prepared to answer questions about Nicaragua and vocabulary.

Nicaragua – Colección I – Viva la juventud

Outcome: Identify, locate and investigate Nicaragua’s history and culture.
1. The students will read about Nicaragua’s history, will apply new vocabulary and will answer questions.
2. Review several grammar concepts.

Outcome:
Review and apply basic skills in different exercises. The students will practice using the Spanish 3 book as a resource.
Spanish 4 will do a review grammar package.
Tarea: Remember to bring the decorated tissue box or the hand sanitazer next week.

La copa mundial de fútbol

La canción del Waka Waka fue un exito durante los juegos de la copa del mundo.  Shakira al igual que Juanes estuvieron en Africa del Sur representando a todos los hispanoparlantes del mundo.  Bravo por estos dos cantantes famosos al igual que España la ganadora del a “Copa Mundial de futbol”.

Outcome:  Spanish IV: Know and implement classroom rules and routines for success in the SP-IV course.

The students today received and discussed  the course syllabus, seats were assigned, textbooks and workbooks were distributed.

Activity:  The students described themselves according to their likes and dislikes (personality).

Homework:  Bring the course syllabus signed and a box of tissues or hand sanitazer decorated with 20 or more Spanish words. (to be turned in on Monday for A-day and Tuesday for B-day students.
