Spanish 3 students:  WB pages 102 -103 and 105

Unit 3-1 test is scheduled for Thursday, March 10 for B-day students and Friday, March 11 for A-day students.  You will need to study the following:

1. future tense

2. vocabulary from the unit

3. prepositions “por y para”.

REVIEW PRETERITE/IMPERFECT/FAMILY/SABER VS. CONOCER

The students will revisit the past tenses: preterite and imperfect in diferent activities.  They will also practice family vocabulary and the concepts of “saber y conocer”.

Quiz:  B-day Thursday, November 18   A-day Friday, November 19

Second Quarter

Outcome:  Apply the imperfect/preterit tenses in various activities.

Activities scheduled for next week:

1`The students have to complete the following activities:

a, Page 69 act. 12 and 13.  You have to write the complete sentence.

b. WB pages 27-28, and 29

c. Next Thursday, I will check your diary and the above activities.

End of the First Quater, October 29, 2010

Outcome:  Be able to apply vocabulary and grammar from lesson 1.2.

1. During the next 4 to 5 classes  the students will do the following:

a. apply imperfect tense in different activities (Describe a sunset scene using the vocabulary from lesson 1.2)

b. Quiz vocabulary on Thursday Oct. 20  (A-day) and Oct. 21 Friday (B-day).

c. Benchmark on October 26 (B-day) and October 27 (A-day)

Lesson 1.2 Las vacaciones

We will apply new vocabulary in different activities.  The students will practice the new voc. using a  puzzle and a voc. handout.
